KARACHI, June 5: A decapitated torso of a woman was found in the Manghopir area on Tuesday, police said.

They believed that the severed hands and legs found earlier in Surjani Town on Monday were of the same woman.

However, the victim’s head was yet to be recovered, the police added.

The Manghopir police said that it appeared that the woman’s body had been chopped off and thrown in different areas.

A case was registered at the Manghopir police station against unknown persons for killing the woman.

The body parts were taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Earlier, body parts of two women were found in Soldier Bazaar and its adjoining areas in March. Later, the police had claimed to have arrested a group of three men for their alleged involvement in the killings on April 24.
